You might think, that's a lot. It is. Imagine being a NICU parent trying to navigate visiting schedules, feedings, newborn care, pumping to produce milk, scrubbing in to see your baby, taking off all outside clothing, only being allowed your phone and water bottle inside, plus add on the care your baby may need. 🚫Now imagine that family or friends want to visit, and you say no, but they don't understand why. Or you have a family member who's mocking you for overreacting, when the reality is the NICU is very stressful and as a parent you're worried or overwhelmed. Or instead of soaking up all the baby cuddles, you're wheeling back and forth to the NICU from your hospital room on a schedule to feed and hold your baby. 🤱There is so much about a NICU stay that's different.
