For Everything in the Fourth Trimester – Flourishing Postpartum Podcast
With this new venture I figured it would be a good idea to start the Flourishing Postpartum Podcast. I may be a beginner and learning as I go, but I know it will be worth it. Helping all the mamas out there who are about to enter the postpartum period or those who have already begun. You can follow along on Spotify or Apple. The Flourishing Postpartum Podcast will include my journey from an emergency cesarean, NICU stay, premature twins, difficulty with breastfeeding, low milk supply, leftover placenta, a hospital stay during a pandemic, being alone every day without support due to a pandemic, and so much more. My journey is unique and came at a time that I could’ve never imagined or planned for in a million years. It made me realize how it can feel for someone without a plan or support when they are navigating the fourth trimester and becoming a mother.
Who will be on the Flourishing Postpartum Podcast
- Me – I know, I know, all about me! I think my journey is important and it’s honest. I’m not going to sugar coat anything but I am also not going to scare you.
- Mamas – It’s importatnt to know you are not alone in your postpartum journey. Stories from real mamas who have been there and know what to expect. What they planned for, maybe the things they forgot and what was important in the end.
- Mentors – These are people who have trained in specific fields and can offer you guidance. Everything from breastfeeding, baby sleep, nutrition, mental health and navigating the fourth trimester.
- Meditations – Personally I have found guided meditations to be such a help for me postpartum. Meditations don’t have to be long, only 5 minutes to help you feel grounded or confident or drift off to sleep.
Mama I hope all the information I bring to this podcast will help you in your postpartum journey. Whether you are planning for postpartum or already into the fourth trimester and looking for support. I know there are so many people and tools that helped me on my journey, hopefully I can do the same for someone else.
